There are over fifty public libraries in Melbourne (Australia) and one of my challenges for the year is to visit new ones that I haven’t been to before. I have a loose plan to visit one a week. While at each library I’ll read or create journal and blog entries.

I’ll also just hang out and soak up the atmosphere, definitely find something nice to eat and maybe do a little walk in the area – especially if there is a nearby park. I plan on mostly using public transport to visit these libraries.

I’ve started using a rating system next to the library. It’s mainly out of five stars but a couple are six stars. Three stars are kind of a bit below average – a bit small or lack natural light or study desks.
